Whether in exhibition architecture, apartments, private houses or public buildings, SNCDA’s team systematically explores how simple shapes can be rigorously arranged in a global system that orders them. At the same time, it reveals the tension and potential that these assemblies generate when confronted with the uses of the place. The projects emanating from this approach are defined by a plan as strict as it is clear, which develops in parallel a formal sensitivity that is sometimes sculptural but never gratuitous.
